L’Oiseau son is a nature sound recording project.

It began with my desire to explore, discover and document through sound, the richness of our natural environment – birds and fauna, forests, countrysides, mountains, deserts, lakes and rivers, sea and sky.

I strive to make my sounds evocative. I want my phonography, when listened to, to open an immersive sound space in ourselves.

By sharing my recordings, I wish to inspire and move the listener through the beauty, diversity, fragility and strength of sound. I also hope to awaken a curiosity and sensitivity to the natural world, as well as a fascination for things too small or too big that are often overlooked.
